Tribute to David Seal, 1956 - 2021
So many memories of David.
Being lucky enough to give David a lift to/from ARM (when it was in the Barn) on occasion. Each journey being the most amazing private lesson on a topic.
David could explain anything to anyone. He'd start at the top and every time you didn't follow something, he'd recursively drop down to the next level of detail. He'd get there, though it would take exponentially longer.
Where would ARM have been without the Seal-o-gram, the definitive, thread ending, answer to a discussion?
My (now) wife having spent a day at Fawber with David (after we'd all gone caving). She started out with slight trepidation but came back having discovered what we all knew, that David was the most amazing, lovely, gentle, kind and human being.
I can't imagine my time at ARM without David and it was a pleasure and an honour to have known him.
