Tribute to David Seal, 1956 - 2021

David was the most amazing person with a huge intellect. He was always very generous with his time and was brilliant at explaining complex things in a very clear and logical way. David worked on the assumption that anyone could understand anything given sufficient explanation - so if you showed any glimmer of confusion he would simply drop to the next level of detail in order to underpin the current point - a technique which he applied recursively! I worked closely with David both at Acorn in the and ARM and often socialised with him both at "Games Night" in The Zebra and up at Fawber Farm. He will be greatly missed.
