Tribute to David Seal, 1956 - 2021

Shedding a quiet tear or two at this news. David was such a lovely person; a huge intellect without the slightest hint of arrogance or impatience when explaining something, even if the listener was struggling to understand. He could sink his beer too, and would always pay double the subscription rate at Fawber to cover his consumption while the rest of us were off on our activities for the day. He also wrote beautiful software: I remember working on his FPA/FPE driver, and wishing I could write code that elegant. Kevin
